Alper Utku is the Founding Partner of Management Centre Türkiye (MCT), a leading management consultancy operating in Turkey and surrounding region. Alper Utku assumes that work should be enjoyable and an integral part of a balanced life. Therefore he equally enjoys hard work as well as his time with his family. Alper Utku likes to be in the nature through hiking, skiing, sailing. As a sailor he has crossed the Atlantic Ocean in 20 days which he considers this as a transforming experience. He enjoys reading about history, science, faith and philosophy as well as business.

He values inspiration and guidance as a leadership style over command control. Therefore he prefers a collaborative management style in which employees are treated as mature individuals who have capability to contribute to business. He is a firm believer that businesses can only grow through people and our people will grow with our business. Utku follows a paperless, non-status, equal opportunity office system.  He does not have a room of his own, secretary and driver neither in his office. He constantly tries to promote the philosophy that better relationships are based on serving our clients, people, team members, suppliers to make their life better which in turn will benefit all. Alper is the Co-Founder of European Leadership University which is a new generation university providing developing, recruiting and retaining talent for exceptional organizations through bespoke degree programmes. He is a member of Young Presidents Organisation (YPO).

Utku has co-authored a best seller in Turkey: “Agile Companies” and has been a contributing writer to a recently published book in UK, “Organisational Consulting : @ the Edges of Possibility”. He speaks Turkish, English, and French.

Didem Gürcüoğlu Tekay, who is the General Manager of Management Centre Türkiye (MCT), Turkey’s first and only public consulting firm, began her professional career in retail. She trained and consulted many international companies and helped them improve their service and product quality.

Tekay, who is the founding director of the MCT Training and Consultancy Department, took the lead in change and development projects of many companies in many different industries ranging from finance and medicine to fast moving consumption and telecommunications in Turkey and across the Middle East and Eastern Europe. She actively participated in forging and advancing international partnerships as well as business and human resources management.

Tekay, believes that organizations depend on corporate relationships and what increases the level of self-awareness is one’s own willingness. She was listed in the Forty over 40’s 2015 list of women leaders and continues to mentor women who are in their 20s and 30s. Tekay is also one of the 50 female mentees in the Women on Boards program, an initiative launched to ensure that more women are assigned to top decision-making positions at Turkey’s top corporations. Tekay graduated from Istanbul Technical University and received her master’s degree on Coaching, Consulting and Leadership in Organizations (MCCLO) from Middlesex University.

A firm believer of the “right here and now” philosophy, Tekay continues to inspire individuals, teams, and organizations to elevate their level of awareness. She is regular contributor to the Management Centre Türkiye (MCT)’s blog where she writes about change and professional development.

Alan was originally trained as a physician at Imperial College in London and worked for 11 years in the UK’s National Health Service, as well as working for a year as a physician in Australia and a year in academic medical research in the USA . In addition to his medical degree he has a first class degree in Psychology and a PhD in Immunology. He left academic medicine to work predominantly with global business leaders 20 years ago.

Alan is recognised as an international expert on leadership and human performance. Over the past 20 years he has been a coach to many of the world’s top business leaders as well as advising the GB Olympic squad, coaches and athletes prior to London 2012 and Rio 2016.

He is an inspiring and entertaining keynote and his three TEDx lectures have attracted over 3.5 million views.

    Prior to joining BCG, Dr Morieux was a Director in a private research and counseling practice that specialized in the application of state-of-art results from social sciences to corporations, public organizations and markets

    Yves Morieux holds a PhD in industrial marketing from the University of Strathclyde in the UK, a DEA in decision sciences & organizational sociology from the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po), a postgraduate certificate in research and quantitative skills from the Scottish Business School, a MSc from CERAM-SKEMA and is a Salzburg Seminar  in American Studies alumnus

    He has been a professor in the Advanced  Decision Sciences & Organizational Sociology programs of the Paris Institute of Political Science, was social science expert for the French National Research Agency (ANR) and lectured in various executive development programs (Insead, IMD, Sciences Po...).     Tanyer Sönmezer trained in mechanical engineering at MIDDLE EAST TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, but he never practiced his profession. After receiving an MBA and a master's degree in marketing, he attended several training programs, such as "Effective Management of Boards of Directors" at HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL, "Leadership" at the OXFORD LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE, "Innovation" at MIT, "Change Management, Design Thinking" at STANFORD and “Making Innovation Happen” at LONDON BUSINESS SCHOOL. However, he is a CONSULTANT who has learned about life working at an AMUSEMENT PARK.

    His roles as chef, magician, pilot, photographer, and conference speaker aside, he prefers to be an ordinary HERO for those he loves. Sönmezer is the CEO of the Management Centre Türkiye (MCT) Group, consults to all prestigious companies in Turkey.

    Deborah Rowland

      After three decades in the field, Deborah brings a unique combination of personal experience, original insight and ground-breaking research to the leadership of large complex change.

      In that time, she has personally led change in major global organizations including Shell, Gucci Group, BBC Worldwide and PepsiCo, holding both Group People Director and VP of Organizational & Management Development roles.       A globally recognized educator, adviser, author and speaker, Steven D’Souza has taught at the Harvard Kennedy School and London Business School. He is an Associate Professor at IE Business School among others, and spoken at events throughout the world from Shanghai to Sofia has taught on IE programs in partnership with Chicago Booth GSB and Brown University. 

      Based in London, D’Souza trained as a priest and then became vice president in an investment bank before he was 30. He is the author of ‘’Made in Britain’’ (with Patrick Clarke); ‘’Brilliant Networking’’; and the bestselling, ‘’Not Knowing’’ (with Diana Renner) which won the Chartered Management Institute’s ‘Management and Leadership Book of the Year’ in 2015.

      Colin J Browne is the author of How to build a Happy Sandpit, which is based on original research into how Southern African organisations create employee engagement through culture and inspired leadership. He is the founder of Happy Sandpit, a think tank on culture, leadership and engagement, which has advised hundreds of organizations in sub-Saharan Africa including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Ghana and leads culture interactions such as the West African Culture Summit in Ghana and the Three Day Culture Field Trips in South Africa.

      Daniel Christian Wahl works internationally as a consultant and educator in regenerative development, whole systems design, and transformative innovation. He holds degrees in biology (Univ. of Edinburgh), and holistic science (Schumacher College), and his 2006 doctoral thesis (Univ. of Dundee) was on Design for Human and Planetary Health.

      He was director of Findhorn College between 2007 and 2010, and is a member of the International Futures Forum since 2009 and Gaia Education since 2007. He has collaborated with UNITAR and UNESCO, many large NGO, and as a consultant his clients included companies such as Camper, Ecover and Lush, as well as, local and regional governments and UK Foresight.

      Daniel is a fellow of the RSA, a Findhorn Foundation Fellow, on the advisory council of the Ojai Foundation and the research group of the Global Ecovillage Network. He is co-founder of Biomimicry Iberia (2012), and has been collaborating with ‘SmartUIB’ at the University of the Balearic Islands since 2014. Daniel currently also works part-time as Gaia Education’s head of innovation and programme design.

      His book Designing Regenerative Cultures was published in 2016 by Triarchy Press and has already reached international acclaim. The ‘SDG Community Implementation Fashcards’ he developed for Gaia Education have been taken up enthusiastically by UNESCO and are being translated into the 5 official UN languages.

      Megan is Associate Professor of Leadership and Dialogue at Ashridge where she speaks, researches, consults and supervises on the intersection of leadership, change, dialogue and mindfulness. She has presented her research to audiences throughout the world and is the author of Dialogue in Organizations (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015).

      Her recent research examining mindful leadership and ‘speaking truth to power’ has been published by Harvard Business Review (2016 and 2017) and her forthcoming book, Ten Minutes to Change your Mind, is due for publication in early 2018.

      Before joining Ashridge, Megan was a consultant with Deloitte; surfed the dot-com boom with boo.com; and worked in strategy consulting for The Kalchas Group, now the strategic arm of Computer Science Corporation. She was educated at Cambridge University and has a PhD from Cranfield School of Management. She is an accredited executive coach with Ashridge and The School of Coaching.
