    Alper Utku

    Alper Utku is the Founding Partner of Management Centre Türkiye (MCT), a leading management consultancy operating in Turkey and surrounding region. Alper Utku assumes that work should be enjoyable and an integral part of a balanced life. Therefore he equally enjoys hard work as well as his time with his family. Alper Utku likes to be in the nature through hiking, skiing, sailing. As a sailor he has crossed the Atlantic Ocean in 20 days which he considers this as a transforming experience. He enjoys reading about history, science, faith and philosophy as well as business.

    He values inspiration and guidance as a leadership style over command control. Therefore he prefers a collaborative management style in which employees are treated as mature individuals who have capability to contribute to business. He is a firm believer that businesses can only grow through people and our people will grow with our business.     Alper is the Co-Founder of European Leadership University which is a new generation university providing developing, recruiting and retaining talent for exceptional organizations through bespoke degree programmes. He is a member of Young Presidents Organisation (YPO).

    Utku has co-authored a best seller in Turkey: “Agile Companies” and has been a contributing writer to a recently published book in UK, “Organisational Consulting : @ the Edges of Possibility”. He speaks Turkish, English, and French.

      Didem Gürcüoğlu Tekay

      Didem Gürcüoğlu Tekay, who is the General Manager of Management Centre Türkiye (MCT), Turkey’s first and only public consulting firm, began her professional career in retail. She trained and consulted many international companies and helped them improve their service and product quality.

      Tekay, who is the founding director of the MCT Training and Consultancy Department, took the lead in change and development projects of many companies in many different industries ranging from finance and medicine to fast moving consumption and telecommunications in Turkey and across the Middle East and Eastern Europe. She actively participated in forging and advancing international partnerships as well as business and human resources management.

      Tekay, believes that organizations depend on corporate relationships and what increases the level of self-awareness is one’s own willingness. She was listed in the Forty over 40’s 2015 list of women leaders and continues to mentor women who are in their 20s and 30s. Tekay is also one of the 50 female mentees in the Women on Boards program, an initiative launched to ensure that more women are assigned to top decision-making positions at Turkey’s top corporations. Tekay graduated from Istanbul Technical University and received her master’s degree on Coaching, Consulting and Leadership in Organizations (MCCLO) from Middlesex University.

        Yves Morieux

        Prior to joining BCG, Dr Morieux was a Director in a private research and counseling practice that specialized in the application of state-of-art results from social sciences to corporations, public organizations and markets

        Yves Morieux holds a PhD in industrial marketing from the University of Strathclyde in the UK, a DEA in decision sciences & organizational sociology from the Paris Institute of Political Science (Sciences Po), a postgraduate certificate in research and quantitative skills from the Scottish Business School, a MSc from CERAM-SKEMA and is a Salzburg Seminar  in American Studies alumnus

        He has been a professor in the Advanced  Decision Sciences & Organizational Sociology programs of the Paris Institute of Political Science, was social science expert for the French National Research Agency (ANR) and lectured in various executive development programs (Insead, IMD, Sciences Po...). He has published two books (recently: Six Simple Rules – How to manage complexity without getting complicated, Harvard Business Review Press, 2014), various scientific articles, book chapters and forewords to management textbooks.           Alan Watkins

          Alan was originally trained as a physician at Imperial College in London and worked for 11 years in the UK’s National Health Service, as well as working for a year as a physician in Australia and a year in academic medical research in the USA . In addition to his medical degree he has a first class degree in Psychology and a PhD in Immunology. He left academic medicine to work predominantly with global business leaders 20 years ago.

                  Fatih Uysal

                  After graduating from Galatasaray High School and Boğaziçi University’s Management Department, Fatih Uysal started working in Danone in 1999. Uysal worked at Danone’s Turkey office, handling various responsibilities for the company’s many different brands. He was assigned to the Danone Group Head Office as Global Marketing Manager in 2006. There, Uysal mentored approximately 40 countries in establishing and applying new marketing strategies.

                  Fatih Uysal spent the last year of his overseas placement in Holland, as the Global CRM Director responsible for the Middle East, Europe and Latin America. After returning to Turkey in 2010, Uysal started working as the Marketing Director of Vodafone and led the launches of several different segments and projects.                     Hakan Alp

                    Born in 1968, Hakan Alp was  graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences with a degree in International Relations in 1989. He worked  at Audit Department  between 1991 and 1997 at Garanti Bank where he also served as Senior Vice President in charge of Training and Development between 1997 and 1999. He worked  for Humanitas Doğuş Human Resources Management as Executive Vice President in charge of Training / Executive Development / Finance and Administration / Operation between 2000 and 2003. He was the Executive Vice President  of Human Resources  at Tansaş Retail Chain between 2003-2005. He joined Sütaş as Executive Vice President, Human Resources Department between  2005-2006. In 2007, he became the  Senior Vice President in charge of Human Resources at Finansbank. He was assigned as Executive Vice President as of June 2010.

                      Tanyer Sönmezer

                      Tanyer Sönmezer trained in mechanical engineering at MIDDLE EAST TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, but he never practiced his profession. After receiving an MBA and a master's degree in marketing, he attended several training programs, such as "Effective Management of Boards of Directors" at HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL, "Leadership" at the OXFORD LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE, "Innovation" at MIT, "Change Management, Design Thinking" at STANFORD and “Making Innovation Happen” at LONDON BUSINESS SCHOOL. However, he is a CONSULTANT who has learned about life working at an AMUSEMENT PARK.

                      His roles as chef, magician, pilot, photographer, and conference speaker aside, he prefers to be an ordinary HERO for those he loves. Sönmezer is the CEO of the Management Centre Türkiye (MCT) Group, consults to all prestigious companies in Turkey.

                        Deborah Rowland

                        After three decades in the field, Deborah brings a unique combination of personal experience, original insight and ground-breaking research to the leadership of large complex change.

                        In that time, she has personally led change in major global organizations including Shell, Gucci Group, BBC Worldwide and PepsiCo, holding both Group People Director and VP of Organizational & Management Development roles.                           A globally recognized educator, adviser, author and speaker, Steven D’Souza has taught at the Harvard Kennedy School and London Business School.                               Pınar Özcan

                              Professor of Strategic Management / Warwick Business School

                              Dr. Pınar Özcan is Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Warwick Business School. She specializes in strategy, entrepreneurship, and the emergence of new markets. Her research aims to contribute to our understanding of the emergence and evolution of markets from the perspective of entrepreneurs, their strategies and interactions with the environment (e.g. partners, competitors, and key institutions such as government, regulators).

                              Dr. Özcan completed her Ph.D. at the Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP) at the Stanford University Management Science and Engineering Department, and also holds a Master of Science and dual Bachelors degrees from Stanford.

                              At Stanford, Dr. Özcan directed the AEA Stanford Executive Institute, a summer executive program for the high tech industry for three consecutive years. She also organized the Stanford Entrepreneurship Thought Leaders Seminar for young entrepreneurs, and helped create the STVP Entrepreneurship Educators Project for entrepreneurship educators worldwide

                              Since completing her PhD, Dr. Özcan has received the Excellence in Research Award at IESE, the EFMD Best Teaching Case Award, the IDEA Entrepreneurship Thought Leader Award, and Best Paper Nominations at Academy of Management Journal and Strategic Management Society. She served as the Representative at Large for the Entrepreneurship as well as Knowledge and Innovation Divisions at the Strategic Management Society. Dr. Ozcan is also the 2015 recipient of the British Academy Newton Grant for the study of open innovation, the 2016 SWIFT award for the study of the UK Banking industry’s transition into open application programming interfaces (API’s), and the 2016 Best Conference Paper Award at Strategic Management Society. In 2017, Dr. Özcan had the honor to be selected to the Top 40 Business School Professors under 40 by Poets and Quants. Finally, in January 2018, Dr. Özcan received the Strategic Management Society Research in Organizations Award for her work on the disruption in the European Banking sector in partnership with Swift Institute.

                              Dr. Özcan’s work experience includes management consulting at Siemens Corporation in Munich, Germany, and strategy consulting with technology ventures and venture capital firms in the Silicon Valley.

                              Dr. Özcan is from Istanbul, Turkey. She speaks English, German, Spanish, Turkish and Dutch.

                                Colin J Browne

                                Author, Founder of Happy Sandpit

                                Colin J Browne is the author of How to build a Happy Sandpit, which is based on original research into how Southern African organisations create employee engagement through culture and inspired leadership.                                   Daniel Christian Wahl

                                  Regenerative Development & Whole Systems Design Specialist, Member of International Futures Forum & H3Uni

                                  Daniel Christian Wahl works internationally as a consultant and educator in regenerative development, whole systems design, and transformative innovation. He holds degrees in biology (Univ. of Edinburgh), and holistic science (Schumacher College), and his 2006 doctoral thesis (Univ. of Dundee) was on Design for Human and Planetary Health.

                                  He was director of Findhorn College between 2007 and 2010, and is a member of the International Futures Forum since 2009 and Gaia Education since 2007. He has collaborated with UNITAR and UNESCO, many large NGO, and as a consultant his clients included companies such as Camper, Ecover and Lush, as well as, local and regional governments and UK Foresight.

                                  Daniel is a fellow of the RSA, a Findhorn Foundation Fellow, on the advisory council of the Ojai Foundation and the research group of the Global Ecovillage Network. He is co-founder of Biomimicry Iberia (2012), and has been collaborating with ‘SmartUIB’ at the University of the Balearic Islands since 2014. Daniel currently also works part-time as Gaia Education’s head of innovation and programme design.

                                  His book Designing Regenerative Cultures was published in 2016 by Triarchy Press and has already reached international acclaim. The ‘SDG Community Implementation Fashcards’ he developed for Gaia Education have been taken up enthusiastically by UNESCO and are being translated into the 5 official UN languages.

                                    Megan Reitz

                                    Author, Associate Professor of Leadership and Dialogue at Ashridge Executive Education, Hult International Business School

                                    Megan is Associate Professor of Leadership and Dialogue at Ashridge where she speaks, researches, consults and supervises on the intersection of leadership, change, dialogue and mindfulness. She has presented her research to audiences throughout the world and is the author of Dialogue in Organizations (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015).

                                    Her recent research examining mindful leadership and ‘speaking truth to power’ has been published by Harvard Business Review (2016 and 2017) and her forthcoming book, Ten Minutes to Change your Mind, is due for publication in early 2018.

                                            Kate recently co-authored "Reinvention: Accelerating Results in the Age of Disruption," which received the 2016 International Best Book Award and was listed by Enterprise Ireland magazine as one of "the best business books ever." Her forthcoming book will tackle the leadership upgrade and NextGen leadership needed in the Age of Disruption. She co-authored with Dave Ulrich and Norm Smallwood "Leadership Code: Five Rules to Lead By," now in 15 languages.

                                            Kate is a former editor at Harvard Business Review. She has blogged for Fast Company and written for Sloan Management Review. She has keynoted in over 28 countries. She has been featured in Success, Huffington Post, Forbes, Economic Times India, Canadian Business Journal, CEO, Entrepreneur, Boston Herald, HBR, Quality Digest, and National Law Review.

                                            Kate is a mentor to international students at MIT's Legatum Center for Entrepreneurship. She graduated with a BA in English from Yale and has an MBA from Harvard Business School. She resides in London.

                                                Dinçer Karaca

                                                He was born in Istanbul in 1977. After studying at Yildiz Technical University Faculty of Civil Engineering and Anadolu University Department of Economics, he studied photography abroad. Having started his career as a professional photographer in Hürriyet Newspaper, Mr. Karaca worked as IT writer and news manager in the IT Business Weekly Magazine of Vogel Publishing Group in 1999. Mr. Karaca who produced and presented a radio program on Turkey's first technology radio at 92.3, produced and presented a TV program on Technology Channel, which started broadcasting in 2000s years.

                                                In 2003, Mr. Karaca prepared and presented the Silicon Valley program, which was broadcasted on Show TV and lasted for 14 years becoming a cult in the television sector. In 2008, he left the position of Broadcasting Director at Ciner Yayın Holding and continued his TV and commercial production for other channels with his own production agency called FelisMedia.

                                                Mr. Karaca lived in the Silicon Valley in the US state of California and produced live webcasts for popular web sites between 2013 and 2016. By the end of 2017 Mr. Karaca founded a new company named NextGen relating to Genetics Technologies and took on the CEO role of this institution.
