Peter Wood is currently Vice President and Global Lead, Assessment and Selection, Global Human Resources at Schneider Electric where he is responsible for assessment and selection strategy and the deployment of tools and processes group-wide to support talent acquisition and talent management.

Peter is an experienced HR leader focused on the achievement of long-term business results through well managed and developed people. His career has encompassed senior positions in corporate and consulting environments in US MNCs, the UK, Continental Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, China, Japan and Australia. He has an extensive experience in the design and implementation of significant change initiatives to support business strategy in diverse industries.

Peter has c15 years business and HR / OD consulting in Europe, Africa & Asia - Pacific. He has a broad consulting background in OD and talent, change management, business process re-engineering, business / HR strategy alignment, M&A integration, work process and organization re-design, talent management process design and implementation, executive team assessment, recruitment and development, performance management process design and implementation, culture and change management programmes.
