Richard Watson strives to help organisations think deeply and differently about the future. Pulling together information from multiple sources, he publishes What’s Next? – an online trends report that provides concise commentary on both established and less obvious trends impacting the macro-environment.
With a focus on strategic foresight and scenario planning he has worked with many of the world’s largest organisations, including IBM, Virgin, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Education, the NHS, McDonald’s, KPMG, Samsung, General Electric and Coca-Cola.
Richard is also Futurist-in-Residence at the Technology Foresight Practice at Imperial College, an external lecturer at London Business School and a member of Stratforma – a specialist scenario-planning consultancy.
